This little peanut was my fourth newborn boy in 3 1/2 weeks. Meet Colten! Mandy delivered him at 36 weeks so he was a very little peanut at just over 5 pounds…but a healthy little boy! And so adorable and so sweet! He wasn’t so sure about being naked, so we put him in the little cocoon that fit him just perfectly. And there he stayed for a good portion of the session. No sense in fussing too much with an adorable sleeping baby.
Must be something in the water, but I have photographed nothing but new baby boys for the last two weeks. And I love it. Here is Jaeden at just 8 days old. What a handsome little guy…I use the word “little” loosely. I work with his Daddy, Eric. I had to contain my excitement when I was asked if I wanted to take their newborn pictures. His mama is Katia. And man did she work hard bringing him into this world. But he is finally here…all 9 pounds 2 ounces of him! And his skin and his lips….oh my gosh perfect. A photographer’s dream. I was a little afraid that he wasn’t going to sleep…so we got a few awake pictures first. And then he fell fast asleep. I have to admit, I even impressed myself. How come I can’t get my own kids to sleep??
Remember Scott and Emily? Baby Jackson is finally here! And I had the privilege of capturing him at 9 days new. He could not have made my job easier. And you know what else is miraculous? He did not pee or poop on a single blanket. That is incredible!
I love that I was able to photograph little Jackson in Emily’s belly. And now I get to meet him! I look forward to photographing him lots in the future.
My friend Shanna delivered a baby boy almost a month ago and I finally was able to get over and meet him this last Friday. Her first son, Max, is just a couple of months younger than Landri…we met when we were pregnant. And now she has a new little man to love on that is just sweet as can be. Meet Kallen. Isn’t that a fantastic name? I just love it.
