I am so excited to share these images. Meet sweet baby girl Gretchen. She is daughter to my sweet friends Alicia and Scott. She came into this world in a hurry one morning weighing in at 8 pounds 15 ounces and 20.5 inches long. I feel so lucky to have been the one to take her newborn photos at just 7 days old. It seems like just last week that Alicia found out she was expecting. I can’t believe she is already here!
Three of my favorite people are moving away. I’m pretty sure I need my friends to all start signing some sort of contract saying they wont move out of the County. I’ve had way too many friends move away over the last four years. But Scott, Emily, and Jackson are following an amazing opportunity and have promised to be back in two years. I’m already counting down. I decided we needed to get a little family session in before they left, so we decided to do it at Little Man Ice Cream in LoHi. It happens to be one of their favorite places and a little nod to Denver. Alright you guys! Have a great time! I’ll see you in December! And I expect you back in 2016.
I just love it when I have the opportunity to photograph these babies that I met as newborns. It is SO fun to watch them grow. Here is Miss Riley at 6-months old. You can see her newborn session here if you are curious. I don’t think any of us believed people when they said “Time flies when you have kids.” But oh were they right. I can’t believe it’s already been 6 months. And I can’t post pictures without commenting on her eyes. My goodness they are gorgeous. Looks like she got them from her Mama!
Meet Baby Brixton. I had the opportunity to photograph him inside his Mommy for her maternity session before I got to meet him! I know, where are those images you ask? On my never ending list of blogs to write. Soon I promise!
We scheduled his big debut photography session at 8 days new. He was born at 7 pounds 4 ounces and 19 inches long. Just a perfect little peanut. I couldn’t have asked for a sleepier little guy. Though it is always funny what some babies will put up with and what others wont. He was not a fan of me messing with his feet. And he loved to be on his tummy. Such opinions these little ones have!
Perhaps I’m bias because I’ve got two little girls of my own, but I just adore photographing baby girls. Not that I don’t love little boys. But who can resist ruffles and lace? Not me. Miss Callie joined the world in a hurry and weighed in at 6 pounds 10 ounces. She is a super content baby. However, she definitely wanted her legs the way she wanted them. So we played by her rules and I’m thrilled with the precious images we were able to capture. Enjoy.
