Meet Max.  He was born a few weeks ago at 8 pounds 10 oz which is just shocking to me!  He did not look like that big of a baby, but he has the longest legs ever.  I’m still convinced that the hospital forgot to zero out the scale.

He is second son to Gwen and David and little brother to Ben.  Side note:  Ben is obsessed with laundry.  Like, he has his own pretend washer and dryer and when I put my blanket in the dryer to get rid of some wrinkles, he diligently watched the dryer for us.  When we needed him to be quite and find something to do, we would just ask him to go check on the laundry and he was happy to oblige.  Seriously the cutest thing in the whole world.  He will make a fantastic husband someday.

Ok, back to the newborn session.  Max’s daddy is a fireman, so we could not end the session without putting him in his daddy’s helmet.  Little Max was a little challenging to get to sleep, but I have all the time in the world and lots of patience.  So eventually, I won.  And while his Mommy nursed him, I grabbed a few updated shots of Ben.  You can find those here.

What’s the best way to pass the time as a Momma is nursing her baby for a precious newborn session?  To photograph the older sibling of course!  You can find the newborn session here.  But below you will find a few of big brother Ben.  Age three with beautiful eyes and lashes and a sweet obsession with laundry.  He warmed up to me pretty quickly and we had such a good time.  Not to mention that he was incredibly cooperative for his age.

I adore photographing babies.  I know, I know…I say it all the time.  But what makes a 6-month session even more exciting (ok, so he’s closer to 7 months in these pictures)?  If I have already photographed them as a newborn!  I had the opportunity to photograph this little guy and his family last fall.

Mr. Carter is a super happy, super laid back baby.  He is very “go with the flow” and not to mention adorable.  He’s got his Mama’s gorgeous lips and some beautiful brown eyes.  I’m thrilled to share this little baby and family session with you all!

It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything about my own kiddos.  And honestly, I have been so busy that I haven’t been snapping all that many.  But I needed to check out a location for a client session, so why not turn it into a quick 10 minute session with my own family?  So here are a few images of my sweet Landri.  Linley has been teething, thus she has been super grumpy.  Needless to say, she was completely uncooperative.   But Landri?  She is finally getting to an age where this is fun for her!  She is three and a half.  Where does the time go?  I swear she was just learning to walk, like, yesterday.  She loves princesses, purple, macaroni and cheese, and her cowboy boots. She is the sweetest big sister to a little sister who sometimes is not nearly as sweet.  She is sensitive, caring, and helpful and must have a hug and a kiss every time you leave the room.  We just adore her.

Nothing gets me more excited than going through the images of a sweet newborn session full of lace and bows and all things girly.  Eeek!  I am so excited to share.

Here is Miss Abbey Grace at just 5 days new.  She really tested her Mama’s patience arriving fashionably late, weighing in at 7 pounds 4 1/2 ounces and 20.25 inches long.  She is such a pretty baby and was so sweet.  Once we got the temperature just right, she slept like a baby.  Side note:  Clearly whoever came up with that statement never had a newborn.

I know you wont believe me, but you see that gold flower headband Abbey is wearing?  Her Daddy made that for her.  Probably the sweetest thing ever.  She’s got him wrapped around her little finger already.

Tiffany and Garret – It was such a pleasure to meet you both.  Thank you for having me in your home to photograph your sweet baby girl.  She will never be this small again and I’m thrilled we were able to capture her so sweet and new.
